Forklift Kiln - Now Hiring
Our Forklift Kiln position is responsible for the safe operation of a large forklift in the Kiln area of a sawmill. Must be forklift proficient and able to stack packs/pallets evenly.

What you will do:
n

- Complete equipment checks and performs preventive maintenance on equipment
- n
- Transfer lumber between various plant operations and comply with applicable safety regulations.
- n
- The employee chosen for this position will be required to perform the following key phases of Basic Caren
- n
- Inspection of equipment
- n
- Service and minor adjustments to the equipment (when necessary)
- n
- Cleaning of the equipment
- n
- Documentation and reporting of results
- n

What you need to be successful:
n
- n
- Excellent safety record
- n
- Excellent attendance record
- n
- Good written and oral communication skills
- n
- Willing to perform all job assignments in an effective and timely manner with minimal supervision
- n
- Valid forklift drivers certificate or heavy equipment loader certification
- n
- Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty and noisy industrial environment
- n
- Successfully complete pre-employment background, drug screen, physical, assessment, and forklift competency test and performance
- n
- Must be able to work nights weekends; no exceptionsn
- n
- Will work a four day on and three day off, then a three day on and a four day off schedule.
- n
- Will have one day, either Saturday or Sunday, out of each week that you will be at work.
- n
