Supply Chain Analyst

Building and Construction Systems, a business unit of Arconic, is the leading manufacturerof architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial constructionindustry. ?Arconic Architectural Products helps architects,designers, specifiers and installers achieve their own groundbreaking ideasusing our Reynobond? - Reynolux? products. ?We serve the global market with manufacturingfacilities in Eastman, Georgia USA and Merxheim, France, which manufacturesand markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asiaand the Middle East.


We have an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Analystfor the Eastman, GA Arconic Architectural Products (AAP) plant.? This role will work as part of a team with other Supply Chainprofessionals who are responsible for all aspects of the supply chainfunctions, including inventory management and production scheduling. Thisposition will support inventory accuracy and integrity, including materialforecasting, purchasing and back-flushing. This position will supportproduction needs to include coordinating with suppliers, reducing material leadtimes, improving supply chain quality, production planning/scheduling and meetingcustomer delivery objectives.


Duties and responsibilitiesinclude:



  • Initiatespurchases for direct material utilizing standard purchase orders with qualifiedsuppliers.?

  • Reschedulesexisting orders to reflect paint schedule changes and to support inventorycontrol objectives.?

  • Overseesand coordinates delivery of all current materials purchased.?

  • UsingDemand Pull Queries, the Supply Chain Analyst determines the need of purchasedpainted coil, adhesive, and heavy gauge film required to support the masterproduction schedule. The Supply Chain Analyst?s decisions are based on existingorders, current inventories, lead-times and anticipated shrinkage?s.?

  • Coordinatesthe communication between paint suppliers and coil coaters when problemsarise.?

  • Performsresponsibilities which conform to cost reduction objectives.?

  • Performsany additional responsibilities as required by manager.

  • Provideactionable analysis to drive waste elimination in the supply chain network

  • Establisha collaborative working relationship with sales, logistics, and operationsteams to identify opportunities for long-term growth and value

  • Leadand manage concurrent projects and demonstrate effective prioritization skillsfor maximum value creation?

  • Leverageknowledge and technical skills to efficiently analyze data and present ideas toupper management

  • Developsdecision support tools and financial models to analyze the cost/benefittradeoffs of inventory.

  • Supportsall replenishment activities including: development of new forecasting tools,meeting with vendors to collaborate inventory forecasting and replenishmentstrategies.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree from an accreditedinstitution;

  • Minimum of 1 years of experiencesupporting a manufacturing environment;

  • Employees must be legally authorizedto work in the United States. ?Verification of employment eligibility will berequired at the time of hire.? Visa sponsorship is not available for thisposition.


PreferredQualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business,Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field from an accreditedinstitution;

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience ina Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials/Inventory Management, or related line ofwork.

  • Previous experience with JD Edwardssoftware

  • Must be strong in MS Excel functions

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
